Apple is developing a new line of smart home devices in partnership with LG, according to a report from Bloomberg cited by TechCrunch. The planned hardware includes a smart lock, a thermostat, and a video doorbell. [1]

TechCrunch reported that the devices are built to integrate with an upcoming Apple smart home hub. This hub is expected to feature a 6-inch square display designed for wall mounting or countertop placement, with a launch anticipated on October 13. [1]
