Amazon Web Services modified its Amazon Bedrock pricing structure on October 26, 2026, according to Tech Insider. The platform moved away from a single per-token billing system to offer distinct standard, flex, priority, reserved, and batch inference tiers for selected artificial intelligence models. [1]

Tech Insider reported that the costs vary significantly depending on the selected tier. The flex tier and batch inference both cost 50 percent less than the standard on-demand rate, while the priority tier adds a 75 percent premium for users requiring faster performance. [1]

This tiered structure differs from rival cloud providers, according to Tech Insider. Microsoft sorts its Foundry deployments into standard, global standard, data zone standard, provisioned, and batch options without offering flex or priority tiers, while Google uses separate pricing models for Gemini. Amazon is an American multinational conglomerate founded in 1994 by Jeff Bezos in Bellevue, Washington. The company operates across cloud computing, e-commerce, digital streaming, and artificial intelligence. [4]
