As FTMQ Tech reported earlier, the release was scheduled for October 13 before shipping in November. [1][2][3][4][16]

The HomeView smart display costs $299 and is set to ship on November 13, according to CNBC Tech and Mashable. CNBC Tech reported that the device features a 7-inch screen and recognizes users by face to show customized information. Mashable reported that the device is available in silver, starlight, pink rose, and space gray, offering a wall-mounted version alongside a configuration that connects to a domed speaker base with a tilting steel arm. Reuters reported that the HomeView taps iPhone user data to make Siri more personal, while promising privacy safeguards to keep that information out of Apple's hands. CNBC Tech noted that this launch is the first non-iPhone product release under Chief Executive Officer John Ternus since he took over from Tim Cook at the start of September. Alongside the hub, Apple announced a new Apple TV 4K priced at $299, a Siri Remote for $59, and a HomePod mini 2 for $149, according to 9to5Mac. [1][2][3]

Apple Home is a smart home platform developed by Apple that enables users to configure and control smart appliances through Apple devices. Devices on the platform communicate using the HomeKit software framework and the open Matter standard. Pre-orders for the new hardware opened on Tuesday on the Apple Store and Amazon, according to 9to5Mac and Mashable. [2][4][13]
