Technology companies including Nvidia, Apple, and Cisco have pledged millions of dollars toward President Donald Trump's White House ballroom renovation project, CNBC reported on October 15, 2026. The Washington Post had reported a list of donors, which 9to5Mac, MacRumors, and Quartz noted showing that Apple and Nvidia each pledged 25 million dollars. Nvidia and Cisco both confirmed their donations, according to CNBC. [1][2][4][7][8][9][10]

The project funding list totals more than 330 million dollars, CNBC reported. An investigation reported by 9to5Mac showed that additional major corporate donors to the proposed 90,000-square-foot facility include Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Coinbase, Comcast, Meta, and Lockheed Martin. Nvidia stated that its support for the United States is independent of business interests. [1][4]

Separately, The Verge reported that President Trump posted images on Truth Social showing White House renovation work. One photo comparing an old column to a restored structure had visual discrepancies and was flagged by Google's AI detector as created or edited with OpenAI tools. [3]

The White House State Ballroom is part of a newly planned East Wing under construction in Washington, D.C. The original East Wing, built in 1902, was torn down in October 2025 to clear the site for the new structure. [12]
