Chinese robotics company Dreame is working on artificial intelligence algorithms and humanoid machines designed to handle everyday household chores. Bloomberg Tech reported that a 29-year-old female founder at Dreame, named Huo, is leading the efforts to develop robots capable of cleaning, washing, and tidying. [1]

The developments were on display at the World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing in August. According to Bloomberg Tech, the event featured competitions where robots demonstrated mundane tasks alongside high-speed athletic events. Demonstrations included robots making beds neatly, serving drinks without spilling, and tidying rooms. [1]

Bloomberg Tech also reported that one Chinese-designed humanoid successfully hung laundry and folded clothes. During the task, the machine paused to collect a package at the door before resuming its laundry work. [1]
