PlayStation 5 exclusive Ghost of Yotei reaches gameplay on PC emulator

PlayStation 5 exclusive Ghost of Yotei has reached gameplay on PC using an experimental emulator. TechPowerUp and VideoCardz both report that developer Foued, known on X as @foufouadi_, shared video footage showing the game running beyond its opening menus. The test was conducted using a modified build of the SharpEmu emulator, though performance currently requires further optimization. [1][2]

According to TechPowerUp, SharpEmu is an experimental PlayStation 5 emulator whose playable library consists primarily of small independent games and retro titles. Demonstrating a major modern title moving past initial menus represents progress for the software, even as real time performance remains unstable. [1]

Ghost of Yotei is an action adventure game developed by Sucker Punch Productions and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment as a standalone sequel to Ghost of Tsushima. Set in 1603 in Ezo, Japan, the game follows Atsu, a mercenary seeking revenge against a group known as the Yotei Six. [1][5]
